We are committed to ensuring that all information obtained by DesignerFabricsDirect is secure. To prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect. All information collected by DesignerFabricsDirect is used for internal purposes only and will not be sold or shared with any person, business or entity outside of our establishment.

Dye Lots

In the fabric industry it can be very difficult to match colors with exact precision, so we ask our customers for an allowance in color variation. Dye lots can vary from bolt to bolt and there is no guarantee that the color will always match, however, the difference is typically only +/- 10%.  We do our best to provide an actual representation of color on web images, but may not be exact on all devices.  If precise matching is imperative, we encourage you to order a sample.

Fabric

All vertical and horizontal repeats listed on the item are approximate and may vary from lot to lot. The best quality of dyes are used in our fabrics and we cannot prevent damage from sunlight or moisture. Certain fabrics have fibers more susceptible to these conditions and may have other adverse effects on the fabric. All natural material including silk, linen and cotton may have natural imperfections that are organic to the fibers. Natural silks have a unique textures that creates slubbing and color variation up to 10%. Inconsistencies are considered character to the fabric and not considered flaws or defects. Inherent characteristics of the fabric are at no fault of DesignerFabricsDirect.

Orders and Pricing

There’s a 1 yard minimum on all fabric and trim orders. Orders are subject to shipping delays, backorders and other possible delays that may not be within the control of DesignerFabricsDirect. Once the order is placed, you will be given an order number and tracking number that can be found on your customer profile. An order may be canceled without penalty until the time it is cut or shipped, at this time the return policy applies. (See Returns and Cancelations.) All backorders are subject to cancellation policy. We offer samples on all fabrics at a flat fee of $5.00 which includes shipping.

Shipping Information

It is our goal to have packages sent out as soon as possible and typically go out within 48 business hours after the order is placed. We ship to all 50 states via UPS with shipping costs varying based on weight and location.Shipping costs will be given at the time of checkout.  On average, packages arrive within 2-8 business days once they’ve left the warehouse, time varies based on location.  If holidays, weather and other factors impact this time, shipping price cannot be adjusted.  At the time the order is placed, you will receive a tracking number so you are able to follow the package throughout the shipping process. You can find your tracking number on your customer profile.

Expedited shipping such as over-night air and two day, is offered at a fee. The order will be shipped within 24-48 business hours of the purchase being made and can be tracked until its arrival. No coupons or discounts can be applied to expedited shipping.

Items that have been lost or damaged during transit are at the responsibility of the carrier. Please inspect the package prior to accepting or signing for the package. Damaged items should be refused. In the event that an item is damaged or lost, please contact the carrier immediately and request a claim number. While our responsibility ends when the shipment leaves the warehouse, we will process the claim once the inspection has been completed. 

Returns and Cancellations

All sales and online transactions automatically consent your compliance with website policies, including DesignerFabricDirect return policy. No returns or cancellations for sale and discontinued items. No returns will be accepted after 30 days following the date of purchase. No fabric or trim less than 10 yards is refundable unless DesignerFabricsDirect is at fault. Items returned by no fault of DesignerFabricsDirect are subject to a 25% restocking fee in addition to freight charges. Refused shipments, customer duplication of orders, or cancellations after shipment has been made are subject to a 25% restocking fee. Shipping charges are non-refundable.

 If you would like to make a return, please email us at service@designerfabricsdirect.com for authorization of return. We must ensure it is within the return policy requirements before we are able to process. Once the return has been approved, you will receive an approval number. The item must be returned to our warehouse within 30 days of the return authorization or is subject to be denied.
